Bigfork Valley lunch series: Expired Medications
Do you have old medications in your cabinet? Bigfork Valley pharmacists Sara Elioff and Heather Bibeau will cover options on how to dispose of them safely and keep them out of the environment in the June Ten Topics community lunch series.
The program will be on Wednesday, June 21 in the Bigfork Valley board room at 11:45 a.m. The program is free and open to the public. Lunch is included.
Sara Elioff, PharmD has been the director of the hospital pharmacy at Bigfork Valley for seven years and Heather Bibeau, PharmD has led the retail pharmacy as director for over six years. Twins, they both decided to follow the same career path and are graduates of the College of Pharmacy at the University of Minnesota, Duluth campus.
While at Bigfork Valley they have updated and expanded the pharmacies and have been active in educating patients about medications. The hospital pharmacy also has been recognized in patient satisfaction surveys for developing with nursing staff one of the top programs in the country for communicating about medications with hospital patients.
