Stay safe: protect yourself & others
Bigfork Valley wants to remind our community of the importance of maintaining a social distance, wearing a mask, and practicing good hand hygiene. The tools below can help you understand your part in slowing the transmission of COVID-19 and when you should seek care.
- Wash your hands: Regular hand washing is one of the best ways to prevent illness.
- Wear a mask: Facemasks have been proven to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
- Practice social distancing: Avoiding close contact with people who are sick and those that don’t live in your household can prevent the spread of COVID-19 in your community. Avoiding large crowds and gatherings are also effective ways to protect yourself and others.
- Get vaccinated: The COVID-19 Vaccine is safe, effective, and is available at no cost to patients! Stop the spread by getting vaccinated as soon as you can and stay up to-date with the latest COVID-19 Vaccine information! COVID-19 Vaccines are available in the Bigfork community! Clinic/Emergency Visit Instructions: Call your health care provider before going to the clinic or Emergency Department and ask what the best way is for you to be evaluated. If this is an emergency, go the the Emergency Department or call 911. Call ahead to the Emergency Department or let the 911 operator know you might have COVID-19.
