Should you be worried about the risk of concussion for your high school athlete? Have you heard about concussion in the news and want to know more about what it is, what the symptoms are and how it is treated?
Dr. Mike Olson will discuss the latest concussion research and management strategies at the Ten Topics community lunch series on Wednesday, August 16 in the Bigfork Valley board room at 11:45 a.m. The program is free and open to the public. Lunch is included.
With a apecial interest in sports medicine, Olson is both a Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician and an International Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician. He has been a platform presenter for the past three years on concussion management and sports injuries for the Association of Chiropractic Colleges annual Research Agenda Conference and has two publications on the subject in clinical professional journals. He serves as a sideline physician for Bigfork High School football.
