The medical clinic on the Bigfork Valley campus is part of Cook Area Health Services, a non-profit community health center doing business as Scenic Rivers Health Services. Family practice physicians provide medical services to Bigfork Valley and also clinic services in Big Falls.
Other clinics in the Scenic Rivers group are located in Cook, Floodwood, Northome and Tower. The clinics offer the Sliding Fee Scale discount program for eligible patients (made possible in part by a grant from the Bureau of Primary Health Care), and a 340B discount drug program for eligible persons.
With routine visits, SRHS staff can keep your body in top-notch shape and catch minor issues before they become major problems. Clinics offer complete family and medical care, obstetrical and pediatric care, emergency services, health education, weight-loss consultation, diabetes education, walking programs, prenatal education, a smoking cessation program, and mammography classes, all facilitated by a skilled staff at the Bigfork clinic of 5 family practice physicians, 2 nurse practitioners, a physician assistant and a health educator.
