Description
Run on the beautiful and remote Jingo Lake Road.
Join us on Saturday, September 12, 2009. The race will start at 9 a.m. at the junction of Jingo Lake Rd and Highway 38, the Edge of the Wilderness National Scenic Byway, and follow the length of Jingo Lake Road, finishing at Highway 6.
The 4.5 mile race will be a timed, competitive race. The 3 mile walk/run will not be timed or competitive.
New this year is a 13.1 mile (1/2 marathon). The cost will be the same as the 4.5 and 3 mile races. Please arrive at Kocian's at 7 am to pick up your bib and t-shirt. The 1/2 marathon will start from Kocian's at 7:30 am. Registration for this race prior to race day is strongly recommended.
The half marathon will be an all-terrain race:
Highway 7: blacktop;
Farm Camp Road: gravel;
Marcell Trail: mowed grass;
Jingo Lake Road: gravel.
Our route:
- Kocian’s to Scenic 7
- South on Scenic 7 to Farm Camp Road
- West on Farm Camp Road to 38
- North on Marcell Snowmobile Trail (East side of 38) to Jingo Lake Road
- Follow Jingo Lake race course ending at the junction of Jingo Lake Road and Hwy 6 (4.5 miles)

We have provided a Registration form for you to print off and mail in with the registration fee, or you may register the morning of the race at Kocian's between 7:30-8:30 am.
