    Winds of Change

    by Dan Odegaard, CEO

From my perch, the view of Bigfork Valley is breathtaking. Its rivers, its woods, its lakes and its health care and senior housing services are an experience you won’t soon forget.

As I look out over Bigfork Valley the winds of change are dizzying, and it seems like they continue to pick up momentum. Our organization has changed so much in such a short span of time that change has become intertwined with our culture. It’s nothing new or out of the ordinary, in fact, it would be out of the ordinary if change slowed to a crawl or stopped.

The passion of our employees is the driving force of our progress. They have a sincere desire to deliver the highest quality of care possible through their skill and compassion. Where they see that change is needed to help provide a better quality of life for all who come through our doors, they support it. And the winds of change pick up a little more speed.

But there is also a deep well in Bigfork Valley, an old well that continues to spring up with new ideas, opportunities and adventures. It’s been around for as long as the earliest explorers. The hardy settlers pulled from it a living, a higher quality of life and a hospital that has spawned other health services and employment for its future generations.

Metaphors of the land come easily to us at Bigfork Valley. We are tied to natural rhythms in the middle of our beautiful lakes and woods country. From the deep and steady well of our history comes the support for the exciting vision we have of our future.

Join us as we move into that future, confident that we can bring care of the highest quality to our northwoods valley.
