Bigfork Valley expands radiology services in Coleraine

Bigfork Valley is now offering general radiology and ultrasound services at its Coleraine clinic.

Jessica Anderson has joined the clinic as a full-time radiologic technologist using Bigfork Valley's new computerized radiography equipment to take diagnostic X-rays. She also will be taking EKGs.

Originally from Minot, North Dakota, Anderson became interested in radiology while at the University of Mary in Bismarck. She graduated with a bachelor of science in radiologic technology, working in her field in Minot and Iowa City, Iowa before moving to the Hibbing area with her husband Marc, a radiation therapist.

"We are very excited to have Jessica in Coleraine. Her enthusiasm and passion for radiology along with her experience will be a real asset to the clinic," said Brenda Schmitz, Imaging Director.

Bigfork Valley Ultrasound Technician Libby Nelson will also be onsite weekly to provide ultrasound imaging services in Coleraine.

Radiology services are available for patients of the Bigfork Valley Clinic, Coleraine, or on an outpatient basis for clients of other area medical professionals. Bigfork Valley Clinics are in network providers for Blue Cross and other major medical insurers.

"We are very pleased to be able to offer these extended services to Coleraine and the surrounding area," said Dan Odegaard, Bigfork Valley CEO. "It is our goal to provide a range of quality health care services locally."

Bigfork Valley Clinic, Coleraine is located just east of the Greenway football field and accessed off old Highway 169. The clinic offers family medical care, imaging and outpatient lab services, and pharmacy pickup. It is open from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday - Friday.
