    CEO's Notes

    Dan Odegaard

Things are happening at Bigfork Valley. We’ve changed our name and we are looking at an ambitious agenda for the future. But our goal is the same: we want to make your local choice in health care your best choice in health care.

Our new slogan sums it up for us: Where skill meets compassion. We not only want to treat you with the kind of caring that only friends and neighbors can give, but we also want to have the very best facilities, equipment and staff ready when you come in our doors.

It’s a goal that we are constantly striving to meet, and we are doing it by:

    • adding new services where we see a need,
    • encouraging our staff to improve their skills, and
    • planning for the future with a building program that will increase the number of ways we can help our patients and serve our seniors.

Last January 1st marked the end of my first year as CEO of Bigfork Valley. It has been a challenging and exciting year for me, and a year that has laid the groundwork for what I believe will be a continuing bright future for our health care campus. It has also been a year that I will remember for the welcome extended to me and my family as a new member of the community. In a similar spirit, I welcome you to our new publication and encourage you to make use of our many health care services.
