March Food Drive for the Bigfork Food Shelf

LPN nursing students on the staff of Bigfork Valley
Any food donated will be matched at $1 per pound
Cash donations (checks preferred) will be matched dollar for dollar
(Matching funds provided through state and federal funds)
Food donations may be left in the container by the Admission Office near the front door

Easter Candy Hunt
for the children of the Bigfork Community on Saturday, March 22 at 2:30 p.m.
Come to the Villa parking lot area between the Bigfork Valley Villa and Communities.
Veterans Assistance
Randall Carlson, Veterans Service Officer for Itasca County, is at the Bigfork Valley Communities each second Wednesday of the month starting at 8:30 a.m. He is available during this time for private consultations regarding any veterans’ services.
This service is free. Please make an appointment with Shelly Loney, social worker at (218) 743-3175.
The Fitness Center is open to the public.
Public use hours are:
5:30a.m.–9:30a.m. and 2p.m.–8p.m. Mondays through Fridays
8a.m.–4p.m. on Saturday and 10a.m.–2p.m. on Sunday.

First Wednesday of the month: Cholesterol and glucose screening
Keep track of your cholesterol and glucose levels!
Bigfork Valley Hospital Laboratory will offer cholesterol and glucose screening on the
first Wednesday of each month beginning July 6, 2005.
8 a.m. - 1 p.m.
Cost of services: $10
No appointment or referral necessary.
Results will be sent to patient.
Come directly to the laboratory at Bigfork Valley Hospital. This test requires fasting, so do not eat or drink before coming.
