CNAs

Casual positions.

Summary of Job Description: Cares for elders following the Bigfork Valley philosophies with skill, compassion and respect. Provides social, physical and medical care that enables elders to live their lives to the fullest. Supports elders in self-care and provides care as necessary for those unable to care for themselves. Supports the elder’s physical and social household environment, following the elder’s preferences. Maintains appropriate documentation and notifies nursing staff/manager of changing needs and conditions of elders. Provides restorative therapy under the leadership of therapy professionals. Follows proper infection control, sanitation and safety practices. Has good interpersonal skills, is able to deal with unexpected events, is consistently at work and on time.

Qualifications: CNA certificate or class enrollment required. Must meet all federal and state regulatory requirements to maintain certification and active registry as CNA, including 12 CEUs per year and participation in mandatory in-service and any departmental education. High school diploma or GED preferred.

Seeking a casual housekeeper to perform general housekeeping duties on the Bigfork Valley campus.


Licensed Practical Nurse - Senior Services

Casual position.

Summary of Job Description: This position will support our assisted living and memory care communities in Elder directed care practices with pets, gardens and friends. Successful candidates will be outgoing, dependable and deliver compassionate care with seniors. Responsibilities will include providing resident care based on individual service/care plans adhering to state, federal, and local laws/regulations.

Qualifications: Diploma from an accredited school of nursing. Meet the regulatory requirements for licensure as practical nurse in the state of Minnesota. Current registration with the Minnesota Board of Nursing.


Pharmacist

Seeking casual pharmacist for the hospital pharmacy.

Summary of Job Description: Hospital pharmacy services the 20 bed acute care hospital, on-site assisted living, long term care and memory care facilities. Weekdays and Saturday mornings.

Qualifications: Licensed with MN Board of Pharmacy, PharmD with retail or equivalent clinical practice experience preferred.


Physical Therapist Assistant

Full time position.

Summary of Job Description: Provide direct patient care under the direction of a Physical Therapist. The physical therapy department services on-site long term care as well as community patients.

Qualifications: Associate’s degree from an accredited physical therapy assistant program and current state licensing required.


Plant Operations/Maintenance Lead

Full time position

Seeking experienced high level plant operations lead. This position requires a minimum Class C boiler’s license. Experience in electrical, pneumatics, HVAC a must. Knowledge in; AHU, pump repairs and controls, motor repairs, safety hazards and preventative maintenance. Ability to read schematics, ability to use volt and amprobe meters. Full time, excellent benefits, salary DOE.


Radiologic Technologist

Part time position.

Summary of Job Description: Knowledgeable about Xray, CT, EKG and other stationary and mobile diagnostic equipment and positioning techniques. Interacts with patients, exhibiting good interpersonal skills including an ability to reduce anxiety and explain diagnostic procedures. Schedules appointments. Practices radiation safety for staff and patient. May be scheduled to respond to emergency call-ins evenings, weekends and holidays.

Qualifications: Associate’s degree (AA) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school. Six months experience/training or additional education preferred. Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (AART).


Registered Nurse - Senior Services

Casual position.

Summary of Job Description: Seeking a casual Registered Nurse for our Communities, a long term care facility. We believe in and practice Elder directed care in a facility with pets, gardens and friends. The Communities includes geriatric care, long term rehabilitation, memory care and skilled nursing care in a homelike setting. Position supervises LPN and nursing assistant staff and reports to the Senior Services Director of Nursing.

Qualifications include: Current Minnesota RN license, good communication skills and interest in working with seniors. Has an understanding of regulations and duties in long term care, MDS and PPS documentation.


Sterile Processing Technician

Seeking a part time Certified Sterile Processing Technician.

Summary of Job Description: Responsible for cleaning, decontaminating and sterilizing reusable patient equipment, instrumentation and supplies in the Surgery Center, and maintains sterilization records. Has knowledge of sterile techniques and procedures. Coordinates perioperative room instrument and equipment needs and maintains inventory. Serves as initial contact for departmental inquiries from customers. Exhibits good interpersonal relations.

Qualifications: High school graduate or GED equivalent. Central processing experience preferred. Sterile processing training and IAHCSMM certification preferred.
