    Seeking individuals for full time and casual Certified Nursing Assistant positions in our long term care facility.

    Summary of Job Description: Cares for elders following the Eden Alternative® and Bigfork Valley philosophies with skill, compassion and respect. Provides social, physical and medical care that enables elders to live their lives to the fullest. Supports elders in self-care and provides care as necessary for those unable to care for themselves. Supports the elder’s physical and social household environment, following the elder’s preferences. Maintains appropriate documentation and notifies nursing staff/manager of changing needs and conditions of elders. Provides restorative therapy under the leadership of therapy professionals. Follows proper infection control, sanitation and safety practices. Has good interpersonal skills, is able to deal with unexpected events, is consistently at work and on time.

    Qualifications: CNA certificate or class enrollment required. Must meet all federal and state regulatory requirements to maintain certification and active registry as CNA, including 12 CEUs per year and participation in mandatory in-service and any departmental education. High school diploma or GED preferred.

    IT Technician

    Seeking full time IT Technician.

    Summary of Job Description: Under the direction of the Information Technology Manager, this position shall assist in ensuring that all systems including computers, servers, network and software function properly. Previous experience working with enterprise level information technology systems is preferred. The Information Technology Technician shall work closely with other departments and end users to coordinate support and projects. Duties will also include evaluating different types of technology and making recommendations.

    Qualifications: Minimum education and experience include a technical or bachelor’s degree in related field and two to three years of experience. Must maintain confidentiality. Needs good communication, mathematical and reasoning skills.

    Licensed Practical Nurse - Long Term Care

    Seeking casual LPN with state certification.

    Summary of Job Description: This casual position will support our assisted living and memory care communities in an Eden Alternative® setting. Successful candidates will be outgoing, dependable and deliver compassionate care with seniors. Responsibilities will include providing resident care based on individual service/care plans adhering to state, federal, and local laws/regulations.

    Qualifications: Diploma from an accredited school of nursing. Meet the regulatory requirements for licensure as practical nurse in the state of Minnesota. Current registration with the Minnesota Board of Nursing.

    Life Enrichment Coordinator

    Seeking full time Life Enrichment Coordinator.

    Summary of Job Description: Plans and directs medically approved recreation program for elders in long term care to develop interpersonal relationships, to socialize effectively, and to develop confidence needed to participate in group activities. Regulates content of program in accordance with elders’ capabilities, needs and interests. Serves as consultant and trainer for volunteers and others. Prepares progress charts and periodic reports for medical staff and other members of treatment team and reviews patient assessments and program goals for other staff members. Organizes and coordinates special outings and accompanies elders on outings.

    Qualifications: Bachelor’s or associate's degree or equivalent from an accredited college or technical school in a related field, and three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience required. Certification or training in long term care activities programs, Certified Activity Director certification preferred. Dementia training preferred.

    Perioperative RN

    Seeking part time Perioperative RN.

    Summary of Job Description: Provides care to patients in surgical setting including direct patient care, education for patients and families, administering medications and treatments. Performs assessments and aids physician during surgery. Monitors vital signs and keeps physician apprised of patient’s condition and reactions to treatment. Performs documentation. Includes practice in the surgical suite and endoscopy room, and pre- and post-care and recovery of patient.

    Qualifications: Requires a minimum of an associate's (AA) or associate of science (AS) degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school. Current Minnesota Registered Nursing License; BLS, and ACLS certifications as required by the nursing department.

    Pharmacy Technician

    Seeking full time Certified Pharmacy Technician for the retail pharmacy.

    Summary of Job Description: Reports to the retail pharmacist. Assists the pharmacist in the preparation and dispensing of medications by performing computer entry of prescription data and other tasks as assigned. Has good interpersonal skills and is able to provide excellent customer service. Is prompt, accurate and prioritizes well. Observes safety and security procedures.

    Qualifications: Holds PharmD diploma. Licensed with MN Board of Pharmacy. Two to four years retail or equivalent clinical practice experience preferred.

    Radiologic Technologist

    Casual position.

    Summary of Job Description: Knowledgeable about Xray, CT, EKG and other stationary and mobile diagnostic equipment and positioning techniques. Interacts with patients, exhibiting good interpersonal skills including an ability to reduce anxiety and explain diagnostic procedures. Schedules appointments. Practices radiation safety for staff and patient. May be scheduled to respond to emergency call-ins evenings, weekends and holidays.

    Qualifications: Associate’s degree (AA) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school. Six months experience/training or additional education preferred. Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (AART).
