    CNAs

    Seeking individuals for full time, part time and casual Certified Nursing Assistant positions in our long term care facility.

    Summary of Job Description: Cares for elders following the Eden Alternative® and Bigfork Valley philosophies with skill, compassion and respect. Provides social, physical and medical care that enables elders to live their lives to the fullest. Supports elders in self-care and provides care as necessary for those unable to care for themselves. Supports the elder’s physical and social household environment, following the elder’s preferences. Maintains appropriate documentation and notifies nursing staff/manager of changing needs and conditions of elders. Provides restorative therapy under the leadership of therapy professionals. Follows proper infection control, sanitation and safety practices. Has good interpersonal skills, is able to deal with unexpected events, is consistently at work and on time.

    Qualifications: CNA certificate or class enrollment required. Must meet all federal and state regulatory requirements to maintain certification and active registry as CNA, including 12 CEUs per year and participation in mandatory in-service and any departmental education. High school diploma or GED preferred.

    IT Technician

    Seeking full time IT Technician.

    Summary of Job Description: Under the direction of the Information Technology Manager, this position shall assist in ensuring that all systems including computers, servers, network and software function properly. Previous experience working with enterprise level information technology systems is preferred. The Information Technology Technician shall work closely with other departments and end users to coordinate support and projects. Duties will also include evaluating different types of technology and making recommendations.

    Qualifications:Minimum education and experience include a technical or bachelor’s degree in related field and two to three years of experience. Must maintain confidentiality. Needs good communication, mathematical and reasoning skills.


    Licensed Practical Nurse - Long Term Care

    Seeking casual LPN with state certification.

    Summary of Job Description: This casual position will support our assisted living and memory care communities in an Eden Alternative® setting. Successful candidates will be outgoing, dependable and deliver compassionate care with seniors. Responsibilities will include providing resident care based on individual service/care plans adhering to state, federal, and local laws/regulations.


    Patient Account Representative

    Seeking part time Patient Account Representative.

    Summary of Job Description: Process insurance forms, verify insurance coverage, compute charges and submit bills. Answer patient questions about billing or insurance claims. Provide patient admissions coverage and pre-register patients for services as needed. Customer service at window and facility phone as needed. Admission and billing support for other departments. Handles petty cash and resident trust accounts. Maintains confidentiality. Exhibits excellent interpersonal skills, professionalism and judgment.

    Qualifications: One or two years of college or technical school, and at least six to twelve months related experience.


    Radiologic Technologist

    Casual position.

    Summary of Job Description: Knowledgeable about Xray, CT, EKG and other stationary and mobile diagnostic equipment and positioning techniques. Interacts with patients, exhibiting good interpersonal skills including an ability to reduce anxiety and explain diagnostic procedures. Schedules appointments. Practices radiation safety for staff and patient. May be scheduled to respond to emergency call-ins evenings, weekends and holidays.

    Qualifications:Associate’s degree (AA) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school. Six months experience/training or additional education preferred. Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (AART).

    Registered Nurse - Long Term Care

    Full time position with a competitive wage.

    Summary of Job Description: Seeking a full time Registered Nurse for our Communities, a long term care facility. We believe in and practice Elder directed care in a facility with pets, gardens and friends. The Communities includes geriatric care, long term rehabilitation, memory care and skilled nursing care in a homelike setting. Position supervises LPN and nursing assistant staff and reports to the Senior Services Director of Nursing.

    Qualifications include: Current Minnesota RN license, good communication skills and interest in working with seniors. Has an understanding of regulations and duties in long term care, MDS and PPS documentation.


    Surgical Technician

    Seeking casual Surgical Technician to work in the Surgery Center.

    Summary of Job Description: Provides technical skilled care to patients and Surgeon during operative procedures under the direction of an RN; prepares and cleans instruments, equipment and rooms for surgery; assists in evaluating patient’s plan of care and contributes to overall efficiency, safety, workflow and utilization of unit. Interacts with patient in professional, respectful and calm manner. Has knowledge to provide age-appropriate care and assess needs. Is punctual and updates skills as needed. Maintains confidentiality and exhibits good interpersonal skills.

    Must understand and exhibit positive ethical and moral principles consistent with mission, vision and values of Bigfork Valley.

    Qualifications: High school graduate or equivalent. Graduation from an accredited school of Surgical Technology or previous surgical technology experience. Certified Surgical Technician preferred.
