TRANSPORTATION

Bigfork Valley maintains two accessible buses for use by Day Stay participants and others. Its newer bus accommodates 13 passengers plus wheelchairs. A van is also available.

Day Stay clients are picked up and returned to their homes, but the bus is also used for all sorts of outings taken by elders and tenants on campus. There might be a trip to the park for a picnic, to a scenic drive to view the fall colors, to town for shopping or visiting garage sales, or even to a cafe to enjoy a piece of pie.

The bus is also available to local residents in the Effie/Bigfork/Marcell area who do not have transportation and need to get to medical appointments, church or shopping. There is a suggested charge.
