A major building project in 2011 will add a Commons area to the Bigfork Valley campus. The Commons is meant as a gathering place and an anchor to support services throughout the campus.
Included will be a new dietary kitchen to serve the hospital, residential elders, staff and visitors. A servery will offer lunch, dinner and extended hours for purchasing food and beverages. A large, welcoming dining room will feature soaring hemlock fir columns, an outside patio and a seating area in front of the stone fireplace.
Next to the servery will be a new hospital gift shop featuring the unique and the useful. Find that special gift for someone in the hospital, purchase a card or browse our collection of uncommon gifts. Proceeds benefit the hospital.
Support areas in the new Commons include additional pharmacy work space, a conference room and an area that will be available for additional Fitness Center space in the future.
