Dr Troy Erickson

Bigfork Valley welcomes Troy Erickson, D.O. a full time board certified surgeon to its orthopaedic department. Dr. Erickson treats a variety of orthopaedic and sports medicine conditions both surgically and non-surgically, and has extensive experience in arthroscopic shoulder surgery.

Originally from Cottonwood, Minn., Dr. Erickson graduated from St. John's University in Collegeville and holds a Doctor of Osteopathy from Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in Missouri. He completed his residency in St. John Oakland Hospital near Detroit, Mich. He has practiced in Park Rapids where he enjoyed the personal atmosphere of a small town environment. He most recently practiced in Duluth.

Dr. Erickson finds orthopaedic surgery fulfilling because it allows him to fix quality of life issues for his patients. He closely engages patients in their own care and believes in treating patients with the attention he would expect for his own family.

He and his family will be relocating to the area, where he looks forward to working in a small town atmosphere and engaging in his hobbies of hunting and fishing.
