Bigfork Valley holds open house at new Twin Home

Bigfork Valley Twin Homes will host an Open House at the first of its homes on Tuesday, April 26 from 3-7 p.m.

The Twin Homes have been designed for those 55 and over with special amenities such as a walk-in tub and shower, oversized garage and walk-in closet space. The approximately 2,500 square foot homes each have two bedrooms, two full baths and a four season porch as well as an attractive living/dining area with fireplace and kitchen with breakfast nook. Each home is wired to be Internet and cable-ready.

Geothermal heat will keep the homes warm in the winter and cool in the summer with six different thermostats for room temperature control. Monthly electricity cost is set annually and covers heating and cooling. Included in the monthly rent is lawn care, snow removal and curbside trash pickup.

Adjacent to the Twin Homes is the campus of Bigfork Valley which includes a Fitness Center, retail pharmacy, and acute care hospital rated highly in the federal patient satisfaction survey. The campus hosts both medical and dental clinics and 24/7 physician care emergency services and medical airlift.

The nearby City of Bigfork has community services as well as a performing arts theater and K-12 school activities. There is also a 9 hole golf course nearby and more recreational opportunities in the Chippewa National Forest and Scenic State Park.
