December 20, 2010 BIGFORK VALLEY NEWS RELEASE Aaron Saude joins Bigfork Valley Laboratory
Bigfork Valley welcomes incoming laboratory manager Aaron Saude. Aaron received his Bachelor of Science degree in Clinical Laboratory Science at North Dakota State University in Fargo. He comes to Bigfork Valley from a ten year career at Essentia Health, Sandstone, where he was chief medical technologist. He is looking forward to managing the lab services for Bigfork Valley. Patient contact with a laboratory technician is when his or her blood is drawn, he points out, but actually there is a lot of science based schooling and testing inside the lab. "It's fascinating," he says, "to look in our microscope and see things you can't see with normal vision." Aaron and his wife Emily plan to relocate to the Bigfork area with their two children. "We are delighted to welcome Aaron and his family to Bigfork," said Dan Odegaard, CEO. "He brings an excellent background to our busy laboratory, and we are looking forward to working with him." The Bigfork Valley laboratory serves the Bigfork Valley hospital inpatients, outpatients and elders as well as Bigfork Valley clinics in Marcell and Balsam, and Scenic Rivers Health Services clinics in Bigfork, Floodwood, Northome and Big Falls. It staffs an outreach lab station in Floodwood. |
