Bigfork Valley receives national Amerinet award

Amerinet, a leading healthcare group purchasing organization, has announced that Bigfork Valley has won its national Healthcare Achievement Award for Financial and Operational Improvement within an Acute Care Critical Access Hospital.

The awards honor Amerinet member excellence in reducing healthcare costs and improving healthcare quality. Member performance was recognized in areas including financial and operational improvements, quality/patient care delivery, supply chain/data management and community impact.

Brian Rauzi, director of support services, will accept the award on behalf of Bigfork Valley on May 5 at the 2009 Amerinet Member Conference in Las Vegas, Nev. Materials management staff at the facility includes Coordinators Paula Beckman and Tranette Stevens.

The awards were open to both acute care and alternate care sites. A total of 21 winners, 12 acute care and nine alternate care sites were recognized nationwide.
