All races start and end at Bigfork School, one block east of Highway 38 in Bigfork

Challenge yourself and enjoy a morning in the woods and countryside surrounding Bigfork - the Edge of the Wilderness! Sign up now for the 6th annual Bigfork Valley Challenge:

• Half Marathon - racing 13.1 miles along the Edge of the Wilderness National Scenic Byway, Farm Camp Rd. and Scenic Highway 7
• 10k - racing along the foot bridge over the Rice River, through Bigfork, along the trestle bridge over the Big Fork River, up River Road through countryside created by the glacial Lake Agassiz for approximately 3.1 miles and return
• 5k - an untimed walk/run following the 10k route for approximately 1.55 miles and return

NEW this year! All races start at Bigfork School, one block east of Highway 38 in Bigfork. All races will end on the track at the Bigfork Athletic Fields in back of the school. All participants will receive a lunch served beginning at about 11:30 a.m., the lunch will be available for purchase for spectators. The award ceremony and door prize giveaway will take place at the bleachers after the racers finish.

Registration opens at 7 a.m. in the Bigfork School Commons, just inside the front door. Registration fees include a finishers medal and lunch.

Race starting times:

• Half marathon - 8 a.m.
• 10k - 8:30 a.m.
• 5k - 9 a.m.
